INTERACTIVE PRODUCT PREVIEW

What could your light bar tell you?

Build a permanent scene with Customization+, sample game artwork, or let real gameplay audio drive all 17 LEDs. Then explore Screen Sync, the experimental Witcher 3 HUD, performance, playtime, Steam moments, four controllers and Weather.

GabeCubeAura 1.3.2 Lab preview. Audio Sync and Screen Sync process the bundled gameplay locally. They do not connect to Steam, PipeWire or hardware.

THE SIMULATOR

Make it yours. See it live.

Every control is a sample input. Nothing is sent anywhere; Reset restores the starting values.

A signal for every moment.

Pick a scenario, then open its controls to experiment.

Built from GabeCubeAura's current library.

The event and Weather sequences are sampled from the plugin renderers; Customization+ reuses their choreography. Launch patterns and the physical glow are browser simulations.

PERMANENT DISPLAY · 61 EFFECTS

Your colours. Your rhythm.

Choose a proven movement from Light Events, Controllers, Weather or Game Launches, then remap it to one, two or three precise colours.

Steam's native effects stay in Steam.

Patrol, Breathe, Rainbow and Solid are not imitated here. Choose GabeCubeAura Off in the real plugin to keep Valve's authentic effect between temporary GabeCubeAura signals.

EVERYDAY DISPLAY / 01

A game's colours, on the machine.

Choose a game or use your own image. Move the red line to pick the row sampled into 17 colours.

SAMPLE GAME

Your image stays on this device. Nothing is uploaded. The real plugin uses locally installed Steam artwork, including SteamGridDB replacements.

TEMPORARY LAYER · PER APPID

Give every game an entrance.

Detect the running Steam AppID, take two or three dominant colours from its local artwork, and play a timed animation before the normal display returns.

Analysing artwork colours…

The real plugin reads installed Steam artwork, including SteamGridDB replacements, locally. Both the two- and three-colour custom palettes are retained separately for each AppID. Nothing is uploaded.

EVERYDAY DISPLAY / 02

Make load visible.

Length is CPU/GPU usage. Colour follows temperature. Try changing either value and watch the bar react.

TIME SIGNAL

Watch time run out.

A Steam Families limit takes priority when a game runs. Or start a personal countdown without parental controls.

At 15 min: amber. At 5 min: red.

The highlight keeps travelling right to left. In the last eight seconds, three quick white flashes repeat until zero. No breathing effect.

SHORT LIGHT EVENTS

Small moments, a little magic.

Each event temporarily takes the bar, then gives it back to the current display. Pick any available sequence and play it.

NOTIFICATION

Return beacon

The edges answer a centre beacon and return to it.

CONTROLLER BATTERY

Up to four players. One glance.

Choose one to four controllers, then preview the real gauge, connection, low-battery, charging and multiplayer patterns on the same 17 LEDs.

COLOUR MEANING

Use one status palette for every controller, or give P1 to P4 a permanent seat colour.

Preview plays manually in either context. Connection, low-battery and charging animations target the selected controller. Multiplayer patterns use the same three choreographies for every active seat. Real battery data depends on what Steam reports for each controller.

LOCAL WEATHER

A window into the sky.

Try the sixteen LED loops for eight conditions. This sample is offline: the plugin asks you to choose a city before it requests live weather.

Top-bar example: ☀ 18°C · shown next to the clock. The real plugin needs a chosen city; this demo uses sample data only.

Weather and the permanent controller gauge are alternatives. Countdowns and brief alerts still take priority. Snow takes hold is the shipped snow default. The plugin refreshes live conditions about every fifteen minutes using Open-Meteo; this page makes no weather request.

CURRENT LAB ENGINE

One soundtrack. Ten ways to read it.

Choose Silksong or The Witcher 3 below. The browser follows the current Lab architecture: 48 kHz stereo, a 2,048-sample analysis window, one 60 ms visual block and adaptive programme matching over 10.2 seconds.

Recommended: Balanced · Brightness 160 / 255.

Screen Sync reduces the live frame to three coherent optical roles. Artwork is the first fallback, then Sapphire.

Real audio, faithful browser model.

The soundtrack and video stay in this page. Audio analysis reads the decoded source track, so the player's volume and mute controls never reduce the modelled LED response. The plugin listens to PipeWire and captures Gamescope at 34 by 18 pixels. Every pattern is independent from every palette. Screen Sync uses three harmonised colours with a bright centre, darker shoulders and still darker edges; Artwork and Sapphire provide stable fallbacks. Steam safety and temporary layers keep priority.

LIVE GAMEPLAY COLOURS

Let the picture reach the machine.

Choose Silksong or The Witcher 3. Panorama maps each live frame to 17 zones; Ambient reduces the same 34 by 18 capture to one calmer colour.

Real frames, faithful browser model.

The video stays in this page and is sampled at the plugin's 34 by 18 capture size and 10 fps. Zone averaging, bright-HUD rejection, stable black-bar crop, spatial blur, black-frame guard and response smoothing follow the Screen Sync processor. The plugin uses Gamescope's PipeWire source and yields when another capture consumer owns it.

APPID 292030 · EXPERIMENTAL

The Witcher 3 HUD on 17 LEDs.

This manual simulator mirrors the beta renderer. The real Lab needs the bundled WitcherScript bridge and does not claim the bar until a live GCA1 record proves the current session.

HOW IT COEXISTS

One bar, clear priorities.

Signals do not all play at once. The most important active message takes the bar, then the underlying display comes back.

  1. Master disabledGabeCubeAura stops every output and returns complete control to Steam.
  2. Steam and system safetyNative download activity, repeated Valve writes and the fixed red critical thermal warning keep the bar.
  3. Critical countdownThe final five minutes protect the timer from launch animations and events.
  4. Short alertsNotifications, achievements, captures and controller warnings pause a Game launch.
  5. Game launchThe artwork animation resumes after an alert and keeps its full visible timer.
  6. Active countdownSteam Families or your personal timer replaces the permanent display.
  7. Permanent displayAudio Sync, Screen Sync, Customization+, Artwork, Performance, Controllers or Weather returns underneath.
  8. GabeCubeAura OffNo permanent GabeCubeAura scene; temporary layers can still appear.

Set the timer to four minutes, then send a notification to see the priority rule.

Extra dark LEDs affect Countdown and Performance hardware output only, not the logical preview. In the real plugin, Advanced / debug also offers confirmed JSON import and Reset to defaults. No hardware access occurs on this site.
